Hi {{first_name|there}},
This week brought a new way for Disney to tell the DVC story—not a new set of membership rules. We’re separating that announcement from the practical details that matter when you’re planning your next stay.
Below: the new campaign, a Grand Floridian resort update, a timely holiday-ticket reminder and a question about how ownership changes as our families do.
A New DVC Message: “Always a Magical Tomorrow”
Disney announced its new Disney Vacation Club campaign on October 28, with a November 1 launch. The new tagline is “Always a Magical Tomorrow.”
The campaign focuses on the memories Members have made and the vacations they still look forward to. Disney describes a new advertising spot inspired by real vacation moments as DVC approaches its 35th anniversary.
What this means for owners: This announcement is about branding and storytelling. It does not announce a new booking window, points chart, dues rate or Member benefit.
My take: the emotional side of ownership is real—but it belongs alongside the practical side, not in place of it. The best membership is one that fits the way your family actually travels.

Your DVC Week, at a Glance
Grand Floridian: a familiar dining option returns
For Members staying at the Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian, the Cafe’s November 2 return puts a familiar resort dining option back in the mix. Disney shared its refreshed look and menu highlights November 1. The official restaurant page now lists breakfast, lunch and dinner.
This is a resort-planning update—not a claim that the resort’s other construction projects are complete. Check the restaurant’s current hours and reservations for your travel dates.
Jollywood starts Saturday: check your Member ticket price
Planning reminder—not a newly announced discount: Disney Jollywood Nights begins November 7. Disney’s official event page lists a $10-per-ticket saving for DVC Members, valid for all event nights, subject to ticket availability. Sign in and check the applicable price and eligibility before paying.
Separate event admission is required. We are not treating reports of a Member keepsake giveaway as verified here; confirm any Member-specific extras directly with DVC.
A Practical Ownership Check
Plan for the trips you expect to take—not only the trips you hope everyone will join.
Before an add-on or a change in how you use your membership, sketch out your next two or three likely vacations. Note the travelers, room size, season and dates you can realistically manage. Compare those plans with your current points and ongoing costs.
This is a planning exercise, not a prediction of future availability or savings. It can help distinguish a genuine need for more points from a particularly exciting vacation idea.
Your Turn: Has DVC Changed as Your Family Has?
One of this week’s daily discussions asked what happens when adult children stop choosing Disney trips—but the parents still want to go.
Some owners discover a new chapter of slower mornings and adults-only travel. Others find the membership no longer fits the way their family vacations.
If your travel party has changed, did you keep the same number of points, downsize or find that you enjoyed DVC even more—and what drove that decision?
See you in the group,
Larry
